We don't eat pork so for those ingredients which included pork, has been substituted it with beef or chicken.

Irish Oatmeal with Apple and Cinnamon (Breakfast)

The flavors of apple and cinnamon enhance the already delicious steel cut oats.

Servings: Serves 4

Ingredients:

1 cup raw steel cut oats (regular or quick)
2 apples , cored and shredded
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. maple syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. toasted chopped almonds
2 tsp. Smart Balance Buttery Spread
Directions:

Bring 3 cups of water to boil in a medium pot. Add salt and stir in oats, apple, cinnamon and maple syrup.

Cook oatmeal according to the package directions.

Divide into serving bowls and top with spread and almonds.
