Ingredients
200g cabbage
50g onion, chopped
1 fresh red chilli, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
25ml water
50g freshly grated coconut (white part only)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Juice of 1/2 lime
Method
Wash and shred the cabbage and place in a pan. Add onion, chilli, salt and water. Cook for 5 minutes. Once water is evaporated, add the coconut, pepper and turmeric and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with limejuice just before serving.
